Privacy Policy

“Move-Out Report” (the “App”) respects user privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles.

1. Data Stored Only on Your Device

Content created, captured, or entered in the App is stored only in your device’s local storage and is never transmitted to our servers or any external service.

  • Property information (name, address, tenant name, inspection date, landlord name, agency name, inspector name, notes)
  • Captured or selected photos
  • Comments, titles, section tags, condition tags, responsibility tags
  • Inspection signature images (landlord, tenant, agency)
  • App settings (company name, default inspector name, PDF footer text, logo image)
  • Pro entitlement state

Uninstalling the App removes this data from your device.

2. Anonymous Usage and Diagnostic Information

To improve quality and fix bugs, the App sends the following anonymous information to Google’s Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. None of your content (property names, tenant names, photos, comments, settings) is included.

  • Screen navigation and feature usage counts (e.g. property creation, photo add, PDF generation, PDF share, signature capture, template selection)
  • Anonymous environment information (device model, OS version, app version, region)
  • Crash stack traces and immediately preceding operations (Crashlytics)
  • App instance identifier (auto-generated anonymous ID per device; advertising IDs are not used)

This information cannot identify individual users. To stop sending it, toggle off “Allow usage analytics” in the App’s Settings screen at any time.

3. Device Capabilities

The App uses the following device capabilities:

  • Camera: To photograph room conditions during move-out inspections. Captured images are stored only on your device.
  • Photo Library: To add existing photos to reports. Imported images are stored only on your device.
  • Touch input (signatures): To capture finger-drawn signatures from inspection parties. Captured signatures are stored only on your device.

4. Disclosure to Third Parties

The App never discloses your device-stored content to any third party.

5. In-App Purchases (Pro)

Pro purchases are processed through Apple’s App Store / In-App Purchase system. Payment details are managed by Apple; the developer does not receive any personal information.

6. Children’s Privacy

The App is a utility for adults and is not directed at children. We do not intentionally collect information from children under 13.

PDF reports and signature captures created with the App are intended as supporting documentation, not as legally binding evidence. For legal matters, please consult an attorney.
