Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What’s the difference between Free and Pro?

ItemFreePro
ProjectsUp to 3Unlimited
PDF watermarkYesNo
Templates3 (Standard / Before-After / Inspection)All 5 (Standard / Before-After / Inspection / Photo Album / Issue Summary)
Company logo in PDFsNoYes (cover and every page header)

Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription (no monthly or yearly fee).

Project duplication and comment snippets are available in the free version too. (Duplicated projects count toward the 3-project limit on the free plan.)

Q. I bought Pro — can I use it on another device?

Yes. On any device signed in with the same Apple ID, open the Pro screen in the app and tap “Restore purchase”. There is no extra charge.

Q. I switched phones and Pro is no longer active

Open the Pro screen and tap “Restore purchase”. As long as the new device is signed in with the same Apple ID, Pro will be restored at no cost.

Q. Where is my data stored?

All data is stored only on your device. Nothing is sent to any server. Uninstalling the app removes all of its data.

Q. Can I back up the data?

The current version does not offer cloud backup (such as iCloud). Project data is included in your device’s iCloud Backup if you have that enabled at the device level.

If you need to migrate data when switching devices, we recommend exporting each project as a PDF (using the share feature) before the switch.

Q. Photos aren’t showing up

If photos attached to older projects stop showing up after reinstalling the app, the cause is most likely data created with a much older version of the app (v1.0.0 or earlier). Projects created on the latest version are not affected.

Q. Can I add multiple photos at once?

Yes. On the project detail screen, tap “Photos” — that opens the iOS photo picker, where you can select several photos and tap “Add”. They are all added to the project at once. When you add multiple photos in bulk, the per-photo edit screen is skipped; tap each photo afterward to add a title, comment, or category. (Selecting just one photo continues to take you straight to the edit screen as before.)

Q. Can I record a work period like “May 2 – May 5” instead of a single day?

Yes. On the project edit screen, after picking a “Work date”, choose an “End date (optional)” below it to record the work as a period. Leave the end date empty and it’s treated as a single day, just like before. When you set a range, it appears as “2026/05/02 – 2026/05/05” on the project list and the PDF cover.

Q. I want to create several similar projects at once (project duplication)

Tap the ⋮ menu on the top-right of any project card on the list, then choose Duplicate. You get a new project with all photos, comments, and project info carried over. Useful for recurring inspections or returning clients (“copy last month’s project and just retake the photos”). The duplicated project is independent — edits and deletions do not affect the original. Photo files are also copied as separate files. Duplicates count toward the 3-project limit on the free plan.

Q. Can I save frequently used comments as snippets?

Yes. In the Settings screen, the “Comment snippets” section lets you register phrases like “No issues found”, “Re-check needed”, or “Cleaning complete”. A “Insert snippet” button appears under the comment field on the photo edit screen — tap it to pick from your list. If the comment field already has text, the snippet is appended on a new line.

Q. I want to embed my company logo in the PDF (Pro)

With Pro, open Settings → PDF logo image and upload an image (PNG or JPEG). Your logo appears in the top-right of the PDF cover and in each page header automatically. Remove the logo to revert to the standard no-logo layout.

Q. How do I remove the PDF watermark?

Buy Pro. The “SAMPLE” watermark is hidden once Pro is active.

Q. Is there an Android version?

Currently iOS only. An Android version is being considered for the future.

Q. Billing / refunds

Because billing goes through the App Store, refund requests must go through Apple Support at reportaproblem.apple.com.
